In Southern Finland we have this bus/train/metro/tram card system, that you can load money in your card or buy season (for example 30 days). Season means paying a certain amount of money for a certain time period, and you don't pay for each travel. You can buy the season for just Helsinki (you can use the card in public transport vehicles only inside Helsinki) or just Espoo or Vantaa, or you can buy region, which is valid in all the cities in capital city region.

Ok, so after the introduction now i'll tell what happened. On one afternoon I went to a ticket machine to load my travel card with 30 days of region. I was in a rush, and pushed the buttons according to the rush. Some days after I took a bus in Espoo, and my travel card didn't work. I showed the receipt to the bus driver, and he said it's okay, since I have the receipt with me. Everytime I took a bus, my card didn't work, and I had the receipt, so everything was okay, until.. Yes, until one late evening when I again took the last bus of the day in middle of nowhere and I showed the card to the card reader, and it didn't work of course. The driver wasn't so sure about my receipt, and wanted to check the card with his some kind of card checking device. He printed the receipt, and showed it to me: it was a shock. He said, this is not the right season I have, get out. Don't try to cheat! I was trembling and realized that I had bought a season of 30 days of Helsinki. And it didn't work in Espoo. I asked, how much is one ticket. 4 euros, he answered. 4 euros! That's robbery . Well I emptied my pockets, and all I could found was 3,70 €. Noooo! I said, heippa (bye) and suddenly two passengers yelled, stop! and the father payed the 4 euros. I was so relieved!

A big embarassment, but at the end, a big relief.
